Introduction：
Gu Fanqi is an artist and designer with an interdisciplinary background in design. He focuses on exploring the application of various materials in artistic creation, aiming to convey personal emotions through diverse works while also reflecting on the natural environment and traditional craftsmanship.He has received prestigious honors such as the Red Dot Design Award and the Golden Pin Design Award (Taiwan). His works have been collected by private collectors and galleries, and have been widely featured by both domestic and international media including Wallpaper*, ELLE DECORATION China, AD China, and IDWAT.Gu Fanqi established his personal art and design studio, File Studio, in Xiamen, where he continues to expand his multidisciplinary artistic practice.
File Studio is a research-oriented studio that focuses on expressing materials and design logic through products and art installations, meanwhile specializing in transforming materials into detailed visual effects and strategies to interpret the diversity of methods and materials. We hope to resonate with society, nature, or humans through design logic. In addition, the studio not only conducts independent research but also maintains an open attitude toward cross-disciplinary collaborations.
